As Foretold to Gerry Maxey, In Cairo, in 1991, Palestinians Waited for Stupid Israeli Leadership to Attack

 Back in 2009, this Blogger published a Blog which theorized that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict could be best understood, within the context of a Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel. Interminable war, events foretold, magic realism turned deadly. 

The event foretold, in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, was told to this Blogger, by a Christian Palestinian, over drinks, during the Gulf War, in 1991, in Cairo. This Blogger happened to be in Cairo, on vacation, during that war.

 

The Palestinian, who was an activist, revealed the Grand Strategy of the Palestinian collective purpose; to wait out the acknowledged brilliant leadership of the Israeli Founding Fathers; then strike when Israel self indulged in stupid leadership.

 

His theory was that all empires, nations, states, monarchies, autocracies, military juntas, regimes  and peoples, even companies, even artistic disciplines, throw up brilliant clusters of leadership, in a specific period of time. And then, inevitably, stupidity arises to devour brilliance.

 

Sooner or later, the brilliance of Cromwell’s coterie of Grandees, will be replaced by the stupid British generals of World War I. Russian leadership will descend from Peter the Great to Czar Nicholas II, French leadership from Henri of Navarre to Louis XVI, American Leadership from America's awesome Founding Fathers to Fillmore, Pierce and Buchanan. 

 

Sometimes, the immutable process is slow, sometimes very fast. The Palestinian calculated that 88 years from the founding of Israel; Israel would outlive its brilliant leadership and be governed by fools. 

On July 24, 2014, this Blogger published::A Contrarian Revisionist Theory of Everything-"Bibi" Netanyahu.

“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin  "Bibi" Netanyahu is the most gifted, the most articulate  politician currently on the American political scene. He is sparkling and dazzling in his grasp and command of the American vernacular and American idiom. ….he is truly the greatest American communicator extant….. his political skill set is perfect for America  yet lacking for Israel, and certainly deficient for the Middle East. Bibi understands Americans, but does not understand Arabs, specifically Palestinians. It is arguably better for an Israeli Prime Minister to understand Arabs than Americans. 

….Israel’s Founding Father Ben-Gurion knew Arabs; he did not disdain them as inconsequential, as Bibi does….. 

Israel is a state that has no room for error. It not only needs a nuclear bomb, a fabulous Army and an Iron Dome (a shield of anti-missiles missiles), it needs Ben-Gurion smarts. 

To survive under the pressure of no errors, Israel needs allies, and not just America. Palestinians may never be allies of Israel, but it is well within David Ben-Gurion’s dream that Palestinians can live a benign, dignified, honorable co-existence with a non-expansive Israel. 

Peace need not be a group hug; Peace is not killing each other. 

…Once in Cairo, this Blogger had a drink with a Christian Palestinian on the banks of the Nile. He thought the life span of Israel would be 88 years, for the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem lasted 88 years, and he compared Israel to that Crusader state. 

He thought it would take 88 years for the brilliant leadership of the founding fathers of Israel to entropy into the leadership of Guy of Lusignan, the obtuse Crusader King who lost all that the Crusaders had built in the Middle East in an ill advised battle with Saladin, the Battle of Hattin. …..…THE MAXEY CHRONICLES” 

In 2023,the Palestinian Grand Theory of the Decay of Brilliant leadership has come to past, faster than the Crusader 88 year life span. 

Israel is now governed by idiots.

Case in Point.

The following Empirical Evidence. Israeli Leadership had, for a whole year before the October, 2023 Murder Raid, the full and complete Master Plan, with specific battle plans,  for HAMAS' attack. And did nothing. Not one sane act to thwart or deter the coming attack.

Is there a better definition of stupid leadership?

“A bombshell report in The New York Times alleges that Israel obtained Hamas’s plans for its assault on October 7 over a year before the devastating attack, but despite the document being seen by several senior officials, it was not acted upon.

According to the report, the 40-page plan, dubbed “Jericho Wall,” laid out almost exactly how Hamas eventually wound up carrying out the attack.

The Times writes: “The document called for a barrage of rockets at the outset of the attack, drones to knock out the security cameras and automated machine guns along the border, and gunmen to pour into Israel en masse in paragliders, on motorcycles and on foot — all of which happened on Oct. 7.”

The document also showed that Hamas had access to sensitive Israeli military information, but officials determined that the terror group was incapable of carrying out an assault of such a large scope, or possibly unwilling, and dismissed concerns about it.

The Times claims that in one instance, a soldier noticed that a Hamas training exercise appeared to dovetail with plans detailed in the report, but a commander said that the drill was part of a “totally imaginative” scenario and did not point to actual battle plans….TIMES OF ISRAEL.”

“Officials in Israel reportedly obtained Hamas’s battle plan over a year before the attack on Oct. 7, according to reports. Israeli officials reportedly received Hamas’s plan for the terrorist attack on Oct. 7 over a year before it happened, according to the New York Times. It was a 40-page document that Israeli officials called “Jericho Wall”. The plan addressed the exact kind of invasion that occurred which led to the deaths of around 1,200 people.

The Times said it received a translated version of the document that it reviewed and found that there was no set date for the attack. However, it showed “a methodical assault designed to overwhelm the fortifications around the Gaza Strip, take over Israeli cities and storm key military bases, including a division headquarters.”

The document addressed that a barrage of rockets would occur, drones would be used to get rid of security cameras and automated machine guns were going to be used on the border. According to the Times, the document also described gunmen going into Israel in paragliders, on foot and by motorcycle. All of those things did happen.

….A veteran analysis with Israel’s signals intelligence agency warned that Hamas was undergoing extensive training exercises in July. Those concerns were reportedly brushed off by a colonel in the Gaza division, according to encrypted emails that the Times reviewed.

Groups carried out joint drills in Gaza that were reportedly similar to what happened during the Oct. 7 attack. According to the BBC, this was going on less than a mile from the Israel barrier. They reportedly posted the drills on social media.

“They practiced hostage-taking, raiding compounds and breaching Israel’s defenses during these exercises, the last of which was held just 25 days before the attack,” the BBC reported.

Officials privately said that if the military took these warnings seriously, there may have been a different outcome or the attacks could have been possibly prevented. Instead, the Israeli military was unprepared, the Times reported.

The Israeli military and the Israeli Security Agency declined to comment, the Times reported…COX NEWS.”

The future of Israel is very clear; unless it changes its current leadership and finds a coterie of brilliant peacemakers; who want a safe and secure Israel, without Manifest Destiny on the West Bank, Israelis  will be forced to sit on the ground and tell sad stories of dead Israelis.
