The British have always been blessed with formidable women from Boudicca, to Lady Godiva to Empress Maude, to Elizabeth I to Margaret Thatcher.   On September 8 , 2022, one of the most formidable of the British ladies, Queen Elizabeth II died, after a 70-year reign. She was a veteran of World War II, auto mechanic, truck driver, and blitz survivor.   She appointed the following Prime Ministers: during her reign: Winston Churchill, Anthony Eden, Harold MacMillan, Alec Douglas Hume, Harold Wilson, Ted Heath, James Callahan, Margaret Thatcher, John Major, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron, ( whose ancestor was the illegitimate son of one of Elizabeth’s kingly ancestors), Theresa May, Boris Johnson and finally Liz Truss.   She had met, in person, the following American Presidents: Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden...
