Per Eric Hoffer: The Tragedy of 1/06/21 is What Did NOT Happen

In this Blogger’s youth, there were only three dates which needed to be remembered:- 4th of July, December 7th( Pearl Harbor Day, when America was kicked into war) and June 6th (D-DAY, when American boys met savage deaths, liberating Europe). 

But that was then; when we had a cohesive population of 160 million patriotic souls; now America is the third most populous nation in the world; and Americans must remember 9/11 and June 19^th….and 1/06/2021. 

Americans are asked to remember January 6, 2021, because that was the date in which American insurrectionists stormed the American seat of government, the United States Capitol, seeking to lynch the Vice President of the United States, and  “necklace” Speaker Nancy Pelosi. To “ necklace” is a tool of Black South Africans to punish supposed enemies of the people, by burning them to death, with a tire around their necks. 

To insure that Americans remember January 6^th; Congress is holding a series of slickly produced televised hearings, vilifying former President Trump, as the agent provocateur of the event. 

The Hearings are misguided; for the issue is not what happened on January 6^th, but what DID NOT happen on January 6^th. 

Some of the most seminal and memorable moments and memories of this Blogger’s life is his conversations with the stevedore/philosopher Eric Hoffer, before this Blogger’s adventure in the Soviet Union; and upon this Blogger’s return from the Soviet Union. 

Hoffer tried to impress upon his arrogant and ignorant guest that one of his greatest insights came from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s SHERLOCK HOLMES tale, SILVER BLAZE; in which the key was what did not happen, the watch dog did not bark. 

In Communist Moscow, there was a large government building, the seat of the Supreme Soviet, the Soviet White House. It was analogous to the U.S. Capitol. 

On August 19, 1991, a group of insurrectionists, led by the Soviet Interior Minister, Boris Pugo, attempted a coup against the legitimate government. 

In response, the Soviet people rose in fury. They poured into the streets to defend their liberalizing government. Russian women, spontaneously, formed groups to battle the insurrectionists, saying: “DON’T SHOOT, WE ARE YOUR MOTHERS, SISTERS AND LOVERS.” 

Russian politician Boris Yeltsin, rather than running, or hiding, walked out into the Moscow sunlight, to a tank, manned by insurrectionists and asked them : “Do you intend to shoot  me?” 

The tank crew said no; so Yeltsin got up on the tank and  made a dramatic appeal to Russian men to come and die to save the government. 

The young men came; three were killed; not police officers but civilians, inspired by brave politicians to fight for their futures. 

“Alexander Sonin, a Moscow factory worker who said he felt a moral duty to s,the parliament …..Russians formed a human chain around the parliament building  chanting "Russia! Russia!"…. the interior of the building was guarded by 1,500 armed volunteers stationed at windows.” 

On January 6, 2021, the American Republic was revealed to be a decayed, wanton, faded beauty past its prime. The insurrection happened, but that is not important; that fact is not important to Russian  agents monitoring America’s decay. 

What is important to those Russian monitors and History itself is what DID NOT happen; not one American civilian rushed to the Capitol to defend the Republic.  Obviously, not one American civilian, in a population of 330 million,  thought it was worth his or her life to see an orderly transition of power in which Kamala Harris assumes the American Vice Presidency.

Not one American politician faced down the mob; men who would be President ran from the mob ( see Mitt Romney). Not one bad ass female American politician showed herself to be a LA PASIONARIA; Speaker Pelosi, AOC, Pramila Jayapal, Ilhan Omar, none of them thought the Republic was worth putting their lives in danger. They all hid. 

What January 6^th revealed is that America has been transformed by Multiculturalism; the Republic is now so delightfully multicultural, no one cares about its survival. The Republic, of the youth of America, is now a rancid state, a rotten society, of cowards; a society in which no one gives a damn if the Republic falls to insurrectionists; the  new  Globalist  Americans do not care enough to put their lives on the line, spontaneously, to maintain the Republic. 

On January 6^th, the only Americans willing to defend the Republic were those paid to defend it; not one volunteer came to aid the beleaguered Capitol police. 

That is a telling statement on the wretched state of the Republic; the new American citizenry no longer cares if the Republic stands or falls. 

When the citizenry is not prepared to defend, there will be other insurrections. One day, a Colonel will get it right; there is always one colonel, who gets an insurrection correct. 

As for the Hearings themselves; Liz Cheney is auditioning for her next career, as a prime time host on MSNBC, replacing Rachel Maddow; and Cassidy Hutchison is dying to be a social fixture in the NEW YORK TIMES style section, with her affected Princess Diana interview delivery. 

What the Hearings should be doing is Eric Hoffer exploration; bring in random members of the American Public, and ask them, under oath, why they did not rally to the Republic on  January 6, 2021?
