It is a Shame; Israeli Leadership Did Not Watch CLASSICAL American Westerns before Bombing Gaza

In college, this Blogger was invited to a seminar overseen by Hans J. Morgenthau.

At the end of the seminar, Mr. Morgenthau engaged this Blogger in a private conversation; he informed this Blogger that he had a unique set of viewpoints; and asked: where did this Blogger get them?

This Blogger answered: “ My Father raised me on Classical American Westerns.”

Then Mr. Morgenthau informed this Blogger that he was: either well equipped or ill equipped for this modern world.

This Blogger recalled that conversation as he watched British television explore, in granular detail, the Israeli Vendetta in Gaza.

Israelis are so incensed by the massacre inflicted on their citizens, by the Gaza based, Palestinian terrorist organization, HAMAS, that they are bantering about using their supposedly nonexistent nuclear bomb on Gaza.

“Israel’s Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu was suspended indefinitely after he said in an interview that dropping a nuclear bomb on the Gaza Strip was “one of the possibilities,” the government announced on Sunday…..politico.eu.”

Israel does have a nuclear bomb; but it is invisible to the world.

As the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) bombs Palestinians in Gaza with increasing ferocity, Israelis are comparing the dead innocent Palestinians to the dead innocent Germans killed in the firebombing of Dresden, or the innocent Japanese civilians fried to a crisp, in the firebombing of Tokyo during World War II.

“With the war in Gaza entering its second phase, Israeli officials have leaned further into history for justification. Pressed by foreign journalists on civilian deaths in Gaza during a news conference Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pointed to a British bombing raid almost 80 years ago that killed children.

“In 1944, the Royal Air Force bombed the Gestapo headquarters in Copenhagen. It’s a perfectly legitimate target. But the British pilots missed and instead of the Gestapo headquarters, they hit a children’s hospital nearby. And I think 84 children were burned to death,” he said. “That is not a war crime. That is not something you blame Britain for doing. That was a legitimate act of war with tragic consequences that accompany such legitimate actions.”......

At the same news conference, Netanyahu rebutted calls for a cease fire by pointing to the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941. Similar rhetorical points have been made by other Israeli politicians, the New York Times reported this week, with some reportedly referring to “how the United States and other allied powers resorted to devastating bombings in Germany and Japan during World War II — including the dropping of the two atomic warheads in Hiroshima and Nagasaki — to try to defeat those countries.”…WASHINGTON POST.”

This Blogger has a natural sympathy for bloody vengeance; bloody vengeance is the natural impulse of Mankind, sanctified by Jehovah, Allah, the Buddhist warrior monks of Japan, the Confucian warrior monks of China, and the Hindu warriors, the Kshatriya.

The world has not produced many Quakers, and even the Quakers that the world produced, like Richard Nixon, would drop a bomb on you out of vengeance.

Engaging in blood vengeance is more natural to Mankind than gender dysphoria; American Westerns knew that.

American Westerns also knew this; that if one was bound and determined to engage in collective punishment; one should give the innocent victims of that potential collective punishment a way out.

Three American Westerns drive that point home, SEVEN CITIES OF GOLD, THE IDNIAN FIGHTER and TWO FLAGS WEST.

In each film, a white man has done an evil deed to the Native American; in response, the Native tribes muster their forces; but before they go to war, they demand that the white criminals be turned over to them. In each case, the wicked white man was turned over, and war was either averted or shortened.

In accordance with the wisdom of American Westerns, this Blogger had deeply desired that the Israeli government, before it engaged in collective punishment, had gone to the Gaza Palestinian population and demanded that they, as innocent, peace loving, honorable people, turn over the killers and torturers of the 1400 Israeli citizens violated on October 7^th, for justice, Israeli Justice.

And if the Palestinians of Gaza had failed to turn over the killers and torturers, then they were deemed, by all the Gods known, to be complicit in the killing and torture; thus the moral onus of collective punishment would be on them.

There is a lot to be learned from old American Westerns.

I went to see EYES WIDE SHUT in total awe of its Director, Stanley Kubrick, who had in his career Directed THE GREATEST Science Fiction/Cosmological film EVER- 2001, SPACE ODYSSEY, the BEST and MOST INSIGHTFUL film essay on American culture EVER- LOLITA, arguably the greatest war movie ever- PATHS OF GLORY, and one of the best film epics ever- SPARTACUS. Mr. Kubrick died SUDDENLY, before EYES WIDE SHUT was released. Everyone was so sad. Then I saw EYES WIDE SHUT, and understood exactly why Herr Director Kubrick had croaked so suddenly; he had willed himself to death before the release of the film, so that he would not have to suffer the slings and shots against his declining genius. EYES WIDE SHUT is the WORST, laughably worst, porn film ever made, EVER. It starred that larger than life couple(at the time), Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. The key scene in the film was Ms. Kidman peeing. I was spending over $60.00(including tickets,parking and snacks for me and my date ) to watch
