The Israel/HAMAS War: From Joe Biden to the Book of Judges

 This has been a gory week for Mankind, what with  an on-going existential war in Ukraine and a newly minted existential war in the Middle East.

And a mournful week for this Blogger; a Russian American, lets call him Gleb, died.  He knew this Blogger from the  old, swashbuckling days; he had driven this Blogger to CHECKPOINT CHARLIE, so that this Blogger could be picked, up by East German tourist guides and escorted out of freedom into Communist dominated East Berlin.

He had a long pre-death; during most of it, he lamented the state of America, not the state of the American economy, nor the state of the SAG/AFTRA strike, but the literal state of American thinking.

He thought American thinking had devolved into an infantile, delusional paralysis, living out episodes of SESAME STREET, with all the realistic American thinkers driven into premature exile.

Gleb was a devout Russian Orthodox, with Sister Elizabeth Romanov as his patron saint.

Elizabeth had joined an order of nuns after her husband, Sergei Romanov, of the Russian Royal family, had been assassinated. She was known for her piety, selfless good deeds and love of her fellow men.

The Bolsheviks took particular delight in brutally murdering her, during their Revolution; “Lenin welcomed Elisabeth's death, remarking that "virtue with the crown on it is a greater enemy to the world revolution than a hundred tyrant tsars”

Gleb and this Blogger once had a wonderful, MY DINNER WITH ANDRE conversation in Hanover, discussing national brutality. Gleb thought Russians were biologically brutal; because they were a mix of Slavic, Viking and Mongol blood. He thought Germans were psychologically inclined to brutality; he thought Germans had  a deep seeded need to be brutal, a need which could never be conquered by therapy.

He admired American brutality, for he saw it as the epitome of American pragmatism. He thought Americans were brutal only when they have something to gain: win a war, seize land from Native Americans, or get rich. He thought Cortes  and those Extremadura Conquistadores had the same type of brutality.

Gleb would have been horrified at American thinking this week.

Joe Biden is the worst thinker ever to sit in the Oval Office; he acts as if he has not lived 80 years; or that he lived those eighty years in a bubble, surrounded by constant repeat "SPECIAL" episodes of juvenile sitcoms.

On a clip from an upcoming CBS SIXTY MINUTES program Biden says this about HAMAS behavior. “this is not human behavior. It's pure barbarism.”

Barbarism is the natural state of Mankind; from the Aztecs to SHAKA Zulu, to the Bolsheviks, to the Nazis, to the Assyrians, to Sea Peoples, to the Tamerlane, to the ethnic partition of the Indian subcontinent,  to the Romans razing Carthage.

Joe Biden prides himself on being uber Irish, has he forgotten Cromwell at Drogheda?

If there were no inherent, incorrigible barbarism in mankind, Neanderthals would still rule the world.

American security is now administered by persons who learned their lessons of life from sitcoms and/or sociology. Sitcom sociology will not be able to successfully defend America in the 21^st Century.

Barbarians must either be killed or converted; sociology cannot convert barbarians. Nor can modernity, nor can sitcoms.

It was shocking to the sitcom  sociologists that HAMAS slaughtered babies in their murder raid against Israel. That should not, CANNOT, be a shock to our leaders.

HAMAS is an Arab, Sunni Salafists organization. Salafists have done this to fellow Muslims: participated in the assassination attempt against Ali, the cousin, the adopted son and the son-in-law of the Prophet,(Ali died soon afterwards); abetted the poisoning of the Prophet’s grandson Hassan by his Sunni wife; killed the Prophet’s other grandson Hussein at Karbala.

However, the most egregious and horrifying act in Salafist tradition, in the tradition of Sunni Extremists, is the murder of ALI’al-ASGHAR ibn HUSAYN, the Prophet’s six-month-old great grandson. Sunni Extremists killed the SIX-MONTH-OLD GREAT GRANDSON of the Prophet, a baby with the Prophet’s blood. Can other Sunnis, Shiites, Christians, Jews, Hindus and Secular Liberals trust the fate of their babies to Salafists? Salafists had no problem killing  the great grandson of the Prophet and yet still call themselves devout Muslims.

If the Prophet’s Blood could not save a baby, what chance do Jewish  babies have in the face of the current Salafist onslaught?

Sociology only works when you are dealing with people preconditioned to decency.

One of the Liberal Media’s leitmotifs on the HAMAS murder raid against Israel was the result of the internal tensions in Israel.

Does that mean that the Serbian terrorist organization, Black Hand, decided to kill the heir to the Austro-Hungarian Imperial throne, Franz Ferdinand, on June 28, 1914, because there was tension in the Empire between Czechs and Austrians?

No, the assassination of Franz Ferdinand occurred on June 28 because the Black Hand discovered that  the heir and his wife would be in Sarajevo, riding in a car; which could not go in reverse.

The HAMAS murder raid against Israel, occurred on October 7^th, because a HAMAS operative, deep in the bowels and warrens of Gaza City, reads Israeli newspapers; and discovered that thousands of Israeli youths would be within five miles of the Gaza border, on that date, having a gigantic party.

Easy pickings for terrorists, less than  five miles away.

While American security leadership spends its time mastering their television makeup, HAMAS leadership spends its time studying history.

The Murder Raid was done and the hostages were taken, to lure the Israeli Defense Force (IDF)  into a ground attack on Gaza.

HAMAS wants to emulate Herman the German, who wiped out the Roman Legions of Varus, in the Battle of  the Teutoburg Forest, in 9 A.D.

HAMAS intends to use the warren and mazes of Gaza streets and underground tunnels, as its forest covering, to destroy the IDF.

However, a  dedicated  army of fanatics can be defeated, in urban warfare, by a modern army.

During World War II, the occupying Imperial Japanese Army declared the city of Manila, an open city.  However, the Imperial marines mutinied and decided to defend Manila to their deaths.

They occupied the old city of Manila,  with its warrens of medieval streets, 16,000 of them. They defied the American Army to come, root them out.

The Americans did, with fire and iron, out of the 16,000 Imperial Marines, only 16 survived. The old city was demolished.

IDF can win this looming battle; in the Old Testament is the Book of Judges.

“What evil is this that has taken place among you? Now therefore give up the men, the worthless fellows in Gibeah, that we may put them to death and purge evil from Israel.”(Judges 20:12b-13a).

 

HAMAS are worthless fellows; they must be put to death, so that evil  can be purged from Israel.
