A few, sad thoughts about Donald Trump’s political farewell, which technically ended  when his imposed candidate, Herschel  Walker, lost his bid to be  US Senator from Georgia.   That is technically correct; in reality, Mr. Trump’s political doom occurred when he imposed a Turkish citizen, a Sunni Muslim, who still voted in Turkish elections, as the Republican candidate for Senator from Pennsylvania. That imposition by fiat made no logical sense for a man who announced an intention to ban Sunni Muslims from entering America.
