It has been a week of foreboding for the world, and America’s place in the world.
KIDNAPPING AMERICANS and FRIENDS OF AMERICA-
It has been nearly a month since Haitian thugs kidnapped 16 Americans, and one Canadian, all missionaries, on their return from a Haitian orphanage.
The kidnapped Americans included five children, ages 8 months, 3, 6, 14, and 15.
Since the kidnapping, the Biden Administration has given speeches about the economy, sent Vice President to Paris, worked feverishly for the passage of bills, plotted giving $450,000 to illegal aliens for penance.
What the Biden Administration has not done is get the kidnapped Americans back home, or informed their loved ones and friends on what in the hell is happening.
The missionaries come from the Christian Aid Ministries, an Anabaptist faith group, which is pacifist. They are located in Millersburg, Ohio, a village stretching slightly over 2.5 miles, with a population of 3,151.
“Not much is known about the state of the victims, but a report from Reuters stated that a senior official in the Biden administration confirmed there is proof of life for at least some of the victims.
The lack of information with regard to the identities and demographics of the hostages has left the communities surrounding Millersburg, like Berlin, shaken.
For the past 29 years, artist Tammy Weaver has owned Country from the Heart, a country-folk art shop in Berlin.
“A lot of people are wondering what’s going on with it because we don’t hear anything. Nobody seems to know if they’re going to be free or if anybody’s been hurt or if anybody’s been killed, so it’s sad,” she said.
Weaver described the community as loving and God-fearing. She said praying for the victims is the most important action to take right now.
“We’re all praying for them and we wish we had some news about it,” she said.
The leader of the 400 Mawazo gang released a video claiming responsibility for the attack and Haiti’s Justice Minister Liszt Quitel said the gang is demanding $17 million, $1 million for each of the victims taken.
Christian Aid Ministries is unable to provide interviews or any additional information, but updates are posted almost daily on the organization’s website.
A close family member of one of the victims expressed gratitude for the outpouring of prayers and support from those in the community and around the country in an update posted on Nov. 11, 2021.
In another update posted on Nov. 10, 2021, the organization revealed that one of the hostages is an employee at the headquarters in Millersburg. The update shared a saying posted on the employees desk that says, “God created you for ministry. If you are not serving, you are just existing. God wants to use you to make a difference in this world.”
….in its eagerness for answers grows, people outside of Holmes County and Ohio are asking questions.
….The U.S. Department of State was unable to share additional details outside of what officials from Christian Aid Ministries said. In a statement over email, a spokesperson at the Department of State ensured that the welfare and safety of the U.S. citizens abroad is the department’s highest priority…..Spectrum news ohio.”
This Blogger, naïve as he is, can only ask the Biden Administration the obvious: Does it not care for the pacifist American Christians because none of them are transgender or illegal aliens?
Doesn’t Beau Biden care about the health and well-being of the 8-Month-old child?
It is bad for America’s future that the Biden Administration is ignoring this kidnapping.
How do we know this?
Check out Yemen.
“ American allies in Yemen….are being held captive as Iranian-backed militants stormed the American embassy looking for equipment and materials…. a group of Houthi rebels raided the U.S. embassy grounds on Wednesday, five days after the bandits kidnapped three Yemeni nationals who work for the embassy. With these three hostages, the Houthis in recent weeks have snatched at least 25 Yemenis who work primarily as security staff at the embassy.
The State Department told the Free Beacon that the Houthis won’t say why they grabbed the embassy personnel. U.S. diplomats also say that most of the 25 captives have been freed, but an unknown number of others remain prisoners of the Houthis.”
These kidnappings of Americans and those associated with America are only beginning; thank you Joe Biden.
MIGRANTS AT THE POLISH BORDER-
The Darien Gap, in Panama, is such a forbidding place than when the Pan American Highway was built, connecting America to South America, the engineers just bypassed attempting to build anything in the gap.
Yet every day, Haitian migrants brave the Darien Gap in order to come to America and get their portion of the American Dream. The wisest policy, for the survival of the Republic in the 21st Century is to meet that extraordinary bravery with callous cruelty.
Why?
The Białowieża Forest is on the border between Poland and Belarus. This Blogger has been on the Polish side of the forest; it is primordial, home to bears, wolves, ancient bison, wild boars, and every Twilight Zone animal known to God and Man, perhaps even some leftover Neanderthals.
It is a fearsome place.
Two thousand migrants are on the Polish border; they have emerged from the Forest. They want sanctuary in Poland, and eventually Germany( thank you Angela Merkel).
In response the Polish government has massed 15,000 army troops, along with police and border guards to keep them on the Belarus side. The Belarusian government has massed its security forces to keep them from re-entering Belarus.
Poland has already erected a barbed-wire fence, established an exclusion zone( barring reporters and activists) and intends to build an 18-foot-high wall along 110 miles of the border.
“SULAIMANIYA, Iraq — The sudden surge of migrants to Belarus from the Middle East that is now the focus of a political crisis in Europe….. thousands of people are stranded or hiding along the border in freezing conditions, not wanted by the European Union countries….The human tide has turned cities like Sulaimaniya, in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, into bustling ports of departure for migrants eager to take an expensive and risky journey for the chance of a better life in Europe.
Mala Rawaz, a travel agent in Sulaimaniya, said he had been selling about 100 packages a week for trips to Belarus. The packages included airfare through a third country, transit accommodation and a Belarusian visa.
At the city’s bazaar, Bryar Muhammad, 25, was doing a brisk business on Thursday selling warm clothes.
“Good clothes for Belarus!” he shouted, holding up thick acrylic sweaters and winter jackets pulled from a cardboard box. “For the snow of Belarus!”
…..“I have heard that the situation is not good in Belarus, but I have to go because there is no life here, no job opportunities, no human rights, no equality and justice, no joy at all,” said Amer Karwan, a carpenter who went with three friends to a travel agency in Sulaimaniya on Thursday to pick up tickets they hoped would get them to Belarus.“I have to go because there is no life here,” said Amer Karwan, 20, who was trying to travel to Belarus from Iraq.
