This Blogger is a regular viewer of MSNBC and THE VIEW; one is struck by the evolution of the phrase: “In 2024, American Democracy is at stake.”. It went from a pedestrian statement into a divine incantation.
The MSNBC apparatchiks believe it is such a powerful incantation that they use it in exorcisms of Trump supporters.
How important is Democracy to the survival of the Republic?
When our ancestors were sitting around smelly, filthy and nasty caves, gutting dead mastodons; they started to form extended families; which led to clans; which led to tribes.
They took that evolution for survival, in a dangerous world. When the concept of a State showed up; to ask our ancestors to give up their natural God given rights to the State, they did so, not for democracy but for safety, survival in a dangerous world.
As the State matured; so, did the concept of Territoriality; that the tribes had a right to their caves, their lands, their savannahs, their water, their farm land, their Territory.
States evolved into democracies, because democracies were attractive; in that they shared the burden of defense of Territoriality among the citizenry, versus a finite autocracy or familial monarchy.
A Republic is the ideal functioning democracy.
But within the edifice of every Republic is a termite, authoritarianism. Within the living organs of every democracy is a worm, the hunger for a strong man.
When a crisis arises, which is unmanageable by either a Republic or a democracy, both turn to men on horseback to guide them, until the crisis is over.
In crisis the Athenian republic turned to strongman Themistocles; the Roman Republic, in crisis, turned to Cincinnatus. The Republic of Carthage turned to Hannibal.
When those crises ended, the Republican and democratic forms were restored.
However, sometimes the strong men ended the Republic, like Napoleon I did with the First French republic; like Napoleon III did with the Second French Republic; like Marshal Petain did with the Third French Republic; like Charles DeGaulle did with the Fourth French Republic.
In recent times, the democracy of India was held in thrall by a female dictator, Indira Gandhi; and the Republic of the Philippines was put in abeyance by its, President Ferdinand Marcos.
But what if the crisis NEVER ends; can a republic, can a democracy, any democracy ,survive a never-ending crisis?
This Blogger thinks not.
The American democratic Republic in 2024 is in a state of crisis; a crisis which may not end in the lifetime of Mankind….MASS MIGRATION.
Donald Trump is not the threat to American democracy; he is the rational response to the threat to American democracy, the ongoing, never ending violation of its Territoriality, by Mass Migration.
In 2024, Americans have a choice: accept the doom of American democracy by accepting the perpetuation of Joe Biden’s Open Borders policy; which means that Americas territory will be overwhelmed by wave after wave after wave of migrants, subsuming American culture, values, mores, education, language, even American democracy itself.
The never ending Mass Migration will inevitably lead to a multicultural society; which in turn will lead to the doom of American democracy.
No Multicultural democracy has ever survived.
The multicultural Roman Republic did not survive; it evolved into a regal Empire, in order for Roman culture and mores to survive.
There has never been a successful multicultural democracy; in fact, multiculturalism and democracy are mutually exclusive concepts.
Democracy in the American republic is inherently incapable of governing a multicultural society; and that seminal fact, that immutable fact, is what will lead, is leading, the Republic itself to doom democracy.

John Stuart Mill, in 1861, wrote that Multiculturalism was corrosive to Democracy as a viable institution.
In his tome, REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT, Mill argued “free institutions are next to impossible in a country made up of different nationalities..because the same incidents, the same acts, the same system of government, affect them in different ways; and each fears more injury to itself from the other nationalities than from the common arbiter, the state.”
What is the raison d’être of the Republic: to dispense social justice? To be kind to migrants? To write off student debt? NO. The raison d’être of the Republic is to survive. If it survives, everything is possible; if it does not survive, NOTHING is possible.
The seminal question of the third decade of the 21st Century is: will the Republic survive under the never ending crisis of mass Migration? Must the Republic jettison democracy to survive Mass Migration?
The doom of American democracy began when American Liberals confirmed, to themselves, their moral superiority over other Americans; they then made the MSNBC logical jump, that illegal aliens were morally superior to American natives, leaving Donald Trump as the champion of the very many but morally inferior Americans.
Under the philosophy and stewardship of Joe Biden’s Liberal governance, the Republic has transformed itself from a secure cultural behemoth into a society of Diversity, and multiculturalism. That transformation is a recipe for the extinction of democracy.
If Joe Biden’s philosophy of Open Borders prevails as the Republic's reply to Mass Migration; American Democracy is doomed, ending up in an ash heap of anarchy, one immigrant group fighting another immigrant group. Ancient Tribalism run amok in the Shining City on the Hill.
Or the Republic can elect a would be dictator to save it from the ongoing crisis of Mass Migration; in the possible knowledge that this crisis may be never ending; so, the dictatorship to combat it may never end.
The Trump Attraction is this; in order to deter Mass Migration, he will order the shooting, perhaps massacre of unarmed migrants at the borders; the mass deportation of illegal aliens, after detaining them in reopened High Plains detention camps; the revocation of birthright citizenship, the termination of illegal alien free education currently mandated by Plyler versus Doe decision, and the seizure of all property owned by illegal aliens, under an application of RICO laws( that all the accumulated wealth of illegal aliens was based on an illegal act, violating Americas borders).
Under Trump, American democracy will end in the wailing of illegal aliens being subjected to pogroms and palmer raids.
No natural man or woman has given up their natural God given rights for a Democracy. They give up those rights for SAFETY, for themselves, their families, their clans, their tribes, ON THEIR OWN LAND. Territoriality; (Territoriality, the persistent attachment to a specific territory, the pattern of behavior associated with the defense of a territory).
President Trump, the once and future would be Caesar, is a product of Liberal malfeasance in governance. Biden and his Liberal cadre have not provided American natives with safety for their citizenship; or safety for their traditional value system, which has survived 6,000 years.

President Trump, as corrupt as Henry VIII, has assumed Henry VIII’s mantle, as Defender of the Faith, the faith in Territoriality.
Joe Biden and his Liberals have crafted a Democracy; which does not protect its citizens from the uninvited. What rational person needs a system of government that does not protect one's person, or one's family, or one's homeland from the uninvited?
The ideal society for Liberals is a state of anarcho-tyranny; which allows career criminals and illegal aliens carte blanche to walk the streets of the working class; while offensive limericks, online poetry and microaggressions are treated with the utmost seriousness by an overpowering Orwellian social and justice system, demanding daily auto de fes, for the new religion of multiculturalism.
Let us stipulate Joe Biden is the Defender of Democracy.
Then what is Donald Trump’s enduring appeal? In a democracy? Trump stands for Territoriality, the love of one’s own.
The 2024 Presidential Election will be a clash between Democracy versus Territoriality.

To sum up, in 2024, American democracy is doomed. Multiculturalism, caused by Mass Migration, locks the Republic into historical determinism; which mandates the doom of democracy by either Liberal societal anarchy or Trumpian pogroms. But, under Trump the Republic may well survive, long enough for a democratic renewal.
