Reflections on the Future of American Young Males, in a Feminized Society

What is a regimental color? It is a piece of colored clothe, or a rag; stapled, sewed, or tied to a stick. That is all it is.

Yet, men have been known to die, to sacrifice their lives, so that a rag tied to a stick does not fall into enemy hands; more absurdist, men have died, sacrificed their lives, so that the regimental colors did not touch the ground.

The British Imperial Army lost so many brave, outstanding young officers, who died trying to save their regimental colors from the Zulu and Afghans in lost, misbegotten battles; that it barred the regimental colors from being carried into battle.

The Roman Legions had the same problem with their regimental colors, their battlefield standards, their Eagles. The French Napoleonic Armies  had an identical problem with their Eagles.

Now, men, think back on all the women you remember; does one think any of them: mother, nurse, grandmother, aunt, sister, grade school first kiss, high school sweetheart, college  vamp, fiancée, wife. mistress, divorce lawyer or Judge would die for a rag on  a  stick?

The male of the human species is a strange animal.

This Blogger’s Father considered the Male Human to be the most dangerous animal in animal history. More dangerous than a rattler, a scorpion, a piranha or a raptor.

Why? This Blogger would ask.

The Father replied: “Because the human male will kill out of vengeance, spite or greed.”

This Blogger spoke up: “ But won’t an elephant,an orca, a wolf kill out of vengeance?’

The Father smiled at his stupid son, and  patted him on the head.” Son, those animals don’t have Winchesters.”

As American society has become more feminized, especially in social, political and intellectual leadership; it has lost its ability to deal with the Killer Ape in the Male of the Human species.

In this feminized society, American males are unmoored; still deadly, but unmoored from the historical, societal codes of chivalry; which contained, and channeled the Male love of violence.

Males are better at killing that accounting; better at dying for a rag on a stick, than living  a life drenched in Thoreau’s quiet desperation.

American female thought leaders think that modern American males only think about dressing like Billy Porter or becoming the latest  drag queen honored by MSNBC.

Therefore, it was a great shock to American women; when a TIK TOK challenge, revealed what American males were really thinking about…..the Roman Empire.

“… on TikTok, women are finding out just how often the men in their lives think about the Roman Empire. An their answers indicate a frequency that has been shocking to both the women filming the viral videos and viewers who might have erroneously thought Julius Caesar ruled the Roman Empire ….In the trend on TikTok, women record interactions with their husbands or boyfriends in which they ask them how often they think about the Roman Empire or to share the last time they thought about it. Based on their answers, if you haven’t been thinking about the Roman Empire as frequently as every day or at least three to four times a month, you're doing it wrong. The men in these videos are serious in their answers, attempting to defend their responses as completely normal when their partners are shocked to learn what a huge part of their interior lives this historical period plays. The amusing disconnect between these couples has contributed to the trend’s virality. The hashtag #RomanEmpire currently has over 893 million views, and the videos have been racking up hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of views across these creators’ pages. One compilation video of the most popular videos in the trend has accumulated over 8 million views. …..TIME.”

Feminized American society is raising American males to be feminists; to make them worthy of a pat on the head from THE NEW YORK TIMES or Rachel Maddow.

The upshot of feminized child rearing is that American males are unmoored; doing nihilistic things, to themselves and others.

Better for America to raise gentlemen than feminists.

The following is excerpted from CNN’S SMERCONISH:

SMERCONISH: The most read piece at the Washington Post website for several days this week was not about ….the President's NATO trip or the election. It was an article by my next guest Christine Emba called Men are lost. Here's a map out of the wilderness. While admitting that yes, men still dominate business and politics and many other spheres of American life, Emba documents what she calls a widespread identity crisis.

Among her supporting statistics, men now receive only about 74 bachelor's degrees for every 100 women -- awarded to women with women becoming increasingly selective, more single young men now live with their parents than a romantic partner. Men account for almost three of every four deaths of despair either from suicide, alcohol abuse, or overdose. The person whose own this issue both on this program and most other forms of media is Professor G, Professor Scott Galloway…….has made a specialty of talking about the crisis of unattached, rudderless young men, and helping them aspire to more."

…. CHRISTINE EMBA, OPINION COLUMNIST, WASHINGTON POST:…it really does feel like people are -- are experiencing this in their lives. They're --they're seeing their male friends and loved ones struggle, look for direction and not know where to find it. And, you know what?

I -- I'll say that I -- I started thinking about this piece, actually you mentioned in my book, Rethinking Sex. That book was sort of an investigation of sexual and relationship culture after Me Too, trying to figure out whether sort of our changes in norms had worked for us if they had delivered what they promised. And I talked to a lot of young women for that book. But I also spoke to young men too. And it was from them that I found the most curious and saddening response. So many of them just seemed totally confused, you know, the sands had shifted beneath them, as Scott lays out frequently, the economy has shifted in a way that doesn't necessarily favor manual labor or skills where men used to dominate.

Women are succeeding more in college and elsewhere, which to be clear is a great thing. But young men didn't know what they were supposed to be doing or almost what they were for, should I talk to women, maybe I shouldn't talk to women anymore because that's seen as toxic somehow. So instead, they were just retreating. They were, you know, staying in their rooms. They were instead of trying to ask real personnel on a date, they were watching porn, to feel like they were, you know, getting their power back. They would begin to look up to these figures like, yes, Andrew Tate, for instance, or Jordan Peterson and they just -- they just don't know what to do.

SMERCONISH: Scott, a part of this that you've addressed is the lack of sex, right? These guys are not having the type of relationships that young men of a different era would be having.

…. SCOTT GALLOWAY, PROFESSOR, NYU STERN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS: Look, we don't like to talk about it. We hear the word sex and our brain fires a bunch of different places. But think of -- I mean the whole shooting match, the whole reason we have an economy, the whole reason we're focused on creating a more prosperous, secure nation is such that we can all recognize what is the key to a rewarding life. And that is a series have deep meaningful relationships and core to that are anchored to that. And I'm not saying you have to have this to be happy is a productive loving relationship with a partner. And you can look at the most unstable violent societies in the world and they all have one thing in common. They all have a disproportionate amount of young men who have no -- no economic opportunity and also have no opportunity for relationships.

And if we're going to have an honest conversation, we need to have an honest conversation. Sex and companionship are huge motivators and guardrails for young men. They put on a shirt, they blow dry their hair, they get their act together, they get a job. So the -- the attributes, the peanut butter and chocolate have behaviors between masculinity and femininity make for a better world. And again, that's not to say that people along the middle of that continuum don't deserve the same respect and the same dignity. But most households prosper when there are risk aggressive, rambunctious, more prone to action attributes of masculinity, in concert with more thoughtful and more loving femininity.

And when men aren't engaging in relationships with women and women can't find men they find, quite frankly, sexually attractive, we're in trouble. The greatest innovation in history wasn't the computer chip. It wasn't the iPhone. It was the middle class. And the thing that gave birth to the middle class was 7 million men returning from war who are given jobs and money and low interest loans, and quite frankly, demonstrated the heroics and the economic security to be very attractive to a lot of women and we had the baby boom. And the inspiration and the formation of the greatest enemy of good in the history of mankind, the American middle class.

Sex and companionship are key and one in three men under the age of 30 in the United States has not had sex in the last year and quite frankly, that as an adult is when they become bad citizens. It's no one's obligation to service them but we need more economically and more emotionally viable men such we can have more household formation.

SMERCONISH: Christine, you wrote a book on this a year ago. Is he right?

EMBA: I mean, I do think there's something to that. You know what? I think that one of the push backs that I've heard to this piece, and to this conception of, you know, men being last men needing more care, is the idea that there isn't anything specific, excuse me, about men, that, you know, we should all just be good people. That there isn't a particular sort of set of masculine attributes or something called manhood that men specifically should aspire to. And, you know, so they say, well, why are we focusing on them, we should -- we should kind of focus on -- on everyone. And I think that's -- it's a nice thing to think. And I do believe that everyone is equal. But we have to think about, you know, what we see in real life, realistically. There are attributes to being embodied as a man that are different than those that you see being embodied as a female and actually being a good person means paying attention to those attributes, cultivating them where they're necessary, and figuring out how to channel them into pro social roles. And we can be clear and say that there are many models for how to be a good man. There's not one kind of good man, you know.

But to actually aspired to be a good man is a good thing. And I think one of the places where, you know, sort of the progressive movement, especially has -- has sort of lost footing here is by constantly saying that masculinity is toxic. By constantly talking down to men, and you know, sort of suggesting that men are trash or men are scum, which is not aspirational, makes them feel resentful and eventually drives them to seek role models who, you know, sympathize with them, and give them a path forward.

And we're seeing this in polling actually, especially in Gen Z, and we can see how this is going to become a political problem. Right now fewer than 50 percent of Gen Z men say that feminism has been a good thing for America. So we're already seeing this resentment coming from lack of relationships, lack of support, lack of positive role models, and it is really going to rip down -- down the line.

….GALLOWAY: Red shirt young man start them at six in kindergarten, they mature later, their prefrontal cortex matures, 12 to 24 months later. More vocational training. 50 percent of Germans have vocational certification. It's 5 percent in the United States. More freshmen seats such that we can have not only more non whites, more women but also more young in terms of the great opportunity our elite universities offer. More third spaces so people can meet national service so people can meet other people from different -- different economic backgrounds, different sexual orientations, and also different romantic partners. ….. The single point of failure, we can reverse engineer all of this, too, is when a young man no longer has a male role model….CNN.”

So, feminized American society has discarded the ability to tame the most dangerous entities walking among us, young males.

How to tame them?

Sex, with women who have the will and ability to make them useful people; MELANIE HAMILTON from GONE WITH THE WIND.

Perhaps, more importantly, American males need heroes, heroic role models like MINUTEMEN; the citizens who took up arms against the most powerful empire in the world to fight and win the American Revolution.

Concord, California is named after the Massachusetts city; the city which called out its citizens to trigger the American revolution. The mascot for its high school was the heroic role model, the MINUTEMEN.

In August, 2023, four female feminists on the school board decided to strip the high school of its heroic male mascot, and replace it with a bear.

CONCORD, Calif. (KGO) -- The Concord High "Minutemen" are no more. By a vote of four to one, the board of the Mount Diablo Unified School District voting Wednesday to approve a new mascot for the school.

Starting next year, they'll become the "Bears."

…."It's time for new attitudes. And if changing a mascot will make students feel welcome, embraced and empowers them to participate more at their school then I will support this," said Linda Mayo, one of the members of the district's board.

One of the concerns among those who called for change is the minuteman holding a musket - at a time where school shootings are top of mind for many students.

Other issues come from the use of the word "men."

"With the term 'men,' then what about our female students? You know they're not represented," Clark said (Clark is the feminist male superintendent of the school distrist).

Student trustee Susanna Barrios said that many students she talked to did not even know what a minuteman was and given that the school is majority Latino, did not feel represented by the mascot.

"I want to change the mascot to something that they have pride in and trust in," said Barrios.…KGO”

“…. “Minutemen” refers to only one gender and the symbol holding a rifle is not reflective of the school in the third decade of the 21st Century.

….New student trustee Susana Barrios, who is not a Concord High student, said she did speak to a few Concord High students about the issue. Barrios stated that the majority of CHS students are Latinx and the students she spoke to said they do not even know what a Minuteman is and thus do not feel pride in the mascot. …PIONEER.”

American young males need role models; and the school system is stripping away from them a bona fide heroic role model; everyday guys, who risked everything to free the nation.

And to finish with a wild thought, shouldn’t teachers teach students what the MINUTEMEN were?

No wonder American young males are off the rails; their sophisticated school systems are teaching them that wild animals are more worthy of respect than males who DID THE RIGHT THING WITH THEIR RIFLES.

The Urination Of Nicole Kidman's Career

I went to see EYES WIDE SHUT in total awe of its Director, Stanley Kubrick, who had in his career Directed THE GREATEST Science Fiction/Cosmological film EVER- 2001, SPACE ODYSSEY, the BEST and MOST INSIGHTFUL film essay on American culture EVER- LOLITA, arguably the greatest war movie ever- PATHS OF GLORY, and one of the best film epics ever- SPARTACUS. Mr. Kubrick died SUDDENLY, before EYES WIDE SHUT was released. Everyone was so sad. Then I saw EYES WIDE SHUT, and understood exactly why Herr Director Kubrick had croaked so suddenly; he had willed himself to death before the release of the film, so that  he would not have to suffer the slings and shots against his declining genius. EYES WIDE SHUT is the WORST, laughably worst, porn film ever made, EVER. It starred that larger than life couple(at the time), Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. The key scene in the film was Ms. Kidman peeing. I was spending over $60.00(including tickets,parking and snacks for m...

The Crash of Flight 447: Fate, Moliere and Veronique Gaignard

In 1954 there was the film, THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY about danger in the air; that was followed by the 1964 film, FATE IS THE HUNTER about a fatal airplane crash and the followup investigation; followed by the 1970 film, AIRPORT, about a bomber on a plane, starring every living star in Hollywood at the time; followed by  the sequels, AIRPORT 75, AIRPORT 77, AIRPORT 79- THE CONCORDE. All that melodramatic danger in the air was laughed to death by the films AIRPLANE in 1980, followed by AIRPLANE II in 1982. Everything in air flight had been covered, both the tragedy and the comedy  of air travel, until Air France Flight 447. Flight 447 was the Air France  Airbus Flight from Brazil to France, which,in 2009, crashed in the South Atlantic , killing all on board,228 passengers. Airbuses fly by wire, which means they fly by computers rather than the old mechanical ways.  Very up to date, except when something goes awry, then it seems it is very diff...

France- Bastille Day, July 14, 2024,....Waiting for the Generals

Bastille Day is the National Holiday of France, under Republican regimes. It celebrates the storming of a decaying prison during the French Revolution, by a frenzied mob. Emmanuel Macron is one of those specific French wunderkinds; who thinks he is more sophisticated than anyone; because, as a high school student, he attended a high school drama club and seduced the mother of a fellow student; who was supervising the club. They married in 2007. Macron is one of those specific French wunderkinds, who thinks he is smarter than History, Russian Cossacks, Prussian generals, Vietnamese guerillas and Algerian nationalists.  Smarter than History itself, smarter than historical determinism, smarter than ancient enmities.  He isn’t. Macron was a Socialist politician; but he broke ranks and broke the French  Socialist Party by  running for the Presidency, in 2017, as the candidate of a new party; which he had founded, centered around himself. He won 66% of the vote, defeating ...
