One of the most dismal, depressing, debilitating revelations of the crisis, engendered by the Russo-Ukrainian War, is how America’s Ruling Elite is devoid, by will, inclination, and education, of foresight.
That bodes ill for the future of the Republic.
The Ruling Elite is brilliant academically, glib, suave, intoxicated by the applause of Stephen Colbert’s audience, and addicted to Globalist gossip, which is considered the Rosetta Stone of life.
The members of the Ruling Elite succeed academically( because of Globalist professors), corporately ( because of Globalist mentors), professionally( because of Globalist supervisors)and socially (because of Globalist social mores).
The members of America’s Ruling Elite understand everything, everything academically, the art of Modernity, protocols, and Group think; they understand everything but people.
Because they fail in the first law of Ruling, understanding people; they lack foresight.
Since America’s Ruling Elite does not understand people; it dismisses the power of religion. It is dismissive of religion as obsolete, a bane on civilization.
That world view dismisses what science has learned from the ruins at Gobekli Tepe( Turkey).
Gobekli Tepe is the oldest place of worship ever discovered, 6,500 years OLDER than the pyramids. It may well be the first thing human beings ever built; and it was a religious temple. It seems agriculture grew up around the temple to supply food for the workers, ergo religion came before civilization; religion is not the bane of civilization but the parent of civilization.
The Ruling Elite's pernicious ignorance of the souls of people has been on display in the American State Department and the NEW YORK TIMES.
THE STATE DEPARTMENT
Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch was America’s Ambassador to Ukraine; she is a brilliant academician, a graduate of Princeton. She was born in Canada; seemingly many of America’s diplomats are migrants to the nation.
In and of itself, that should not present a problem; however, in practice, the Republic must recognize those international courtiers have difficulty understanding native populations, with generational ROOTS; they are blind to the siren call of Territoriality. A Foreign Service comprised of peripatetic “experts” cannot connect with the mysterious yet real mystic chords of memory. This is why the State Department failed America in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan now in Ukraine and Russia.
What Ms. Yovanovitch is incapable of understanding is that even if Ukraine wins the current Russo-Ukrainian War, it will only mean that, in twenty years' time, a Russian Colonel, who was on the losing side, will rise up, with a better idea to defeat the Ukrainians. Once the Global Elite decided not to partition Ukraine at the collapse of the Soviet Union, it seeded a perpetual war between Ukraine and Russia, over the mystic chords of territoriality.
Brilliant Ms. Yovanovitch would probably state, categorically, that Arabs and Jews will never again go to war over the Temple Mount. And we all know there is a better chance of seeing aliens land on Earth than that occurring. Kiev aka Kyiv is Russia’s Temple Mount.
The following is excerpted from a NEWSHOUR interview.
‘A short time ago, I spoke with Ambassador Yovanovitch about Russia's invasion of Ukraine ….I want to ask you about it in a moment, but, of course, first, Ukraine, the country you were representing the United States in as Ambassador. You not only bring your professional credentials. You come from a family, your parents were Russian immigrants. You were born in Canada, raised in the United States. You grew up understanding European history. What do you think is at stake in this war in Ukraine?
Marie Yovanovitch, Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine: Well, I think President Biden got it exactly right when he said in the State of the Union that this is a struggle between freedom and tyranny.
So this is about Ukraine and Vladimir Putin's desire to annex all of Ukraine. It wasn't enough just to take Crimea in 2019 and parts of the Donbass. He wants all of Ukraine now and perhaps to extend his domain even further.
But I think the main issue for Putin is that the international order, the rules-based international order that was created after World War II, just isn't working for him, even though it has made most of us more prosperous, more free and more secure.
Judy Woodruff:Is any part of what he's trying to do acceptable?I mean, if he were to, say, get part of Ukraine, if he were to take the east and, of course, keep Crimea and a little bit more, I mean, is that something you think the West should accept?
Marie Yovanovitch:Well, I think this is about what Ukraine can accept.I mean, so often, in the run-up to this invasion, this war of choice that Putin has launched, we were asking ourselves, what does Russia want? And we were asking ourselves, what should we be doing? But very rarely did we ask ourselves, what do the Ukrainian people want?
And the Ukrainian people, they want to join NATO. They want to join the E.U. They want the kinds of freedoms we enjoy here in the United States, they want a good life for their kids. And that's democracy. That's market — a market economy.”..PBS NEWSHOUR.”
Ambassador Yovanovitch’s answer is a masterpiece of empowering drivel. This Blogger is humbled by how empowering it is; this Blogger has only one humble question: Does the Ukrainian mother, who has lost her child in this misbegotten war, think Ukraine having a market economy was worth her baby’s death?
The Ruling Elite NEVER gets priorities correct.
THE NEW YORK TIMES
One of the mainstays of the Ruling Elite is America’s paper of record, THE NEW YORK TIMES.
A Ruling Elite, to justify and validate its existence as more than an entrenched parasite, must anticipate and offer proactive analysis and solution to complex problems.
The NEW YORK TIMES has failed in that mission.
“The idea of Russia as a separate civilization from the West with which it competes goes back centuries, to the roots of Orthodox Christianity and the notion of Moscow as a “third Rome,” following Rome itself and Constantinople. …..March 16, 2022.”
Is that the best a mainstay of the Ruling Elite can do?
On September 12, 2018, this Blogger published the following:”As this Blog is being written, Russian President Vladimir Putin is in Eastern Russia, on the Siberian tundra, observing the Russian Army’s massive military exercise, the largest peaceful military exercise since the end of the Cold War.One would be very naive, Panglossian naive, to think that Putin has crafted this …. military machine for mere training; he intends to use it for the enhancement of Russia’s strategic goals.
What are Russia’s strategic goals under Putin? The Globalists, Elitists and Liberals think Putin is after world conquest, a clumsy continuance of the Soviet need to dominate the world. This Blogger disagrees.
Putin was trained by the Communists; he was in fact a high ranking KGB operative of competence and danger. However, this Blogger takes Putin’s epiphany with the Orthodox faith seriously.
This Blogger believes that Putin is now a devotee of the Russian Orthodox religion, and believes that Moscow is the Third Rome.
In 1510, a Russian monk wrote:"Two Romes have fallen. The third stands. And there will be no fourth.”
The first Rome was the original Rome, defeated by barbarians. The second Rome was Byzantium, conquered by Sunnis…THE MAXEY CHRONICLES.”
On March 16, 2022, the NEW YORK TIMES published the following:
“Some peace deals would probably be unacceptable to Ukraine — say, a rump state in the western part of the country that does not include Kyiv. Other potential deals are more plausible.
Thomas Friedman, the Times columnist, has laid out the outlines of a possible deal in which Russia acquires a portion of eastern Ukraine where fighting has been going on for years; Ukraine promises not to join NATO (as Zelensky has already hinted); and Russia pays compensation for the damage it has done…..NEW YORK TIMES.”
Is that the best a mainstay of the Ruling Elite can do?
On March 2, 2022 this Blogger published his non-Elitist Peace Plan.
“Zelensky must go; hero that he is, he must go. He is Hannibal of Carthage to Russia’s Rome. As long as he is there, Russia will want to salt the earth of Ukraine, so nothing will ever grow there again. That exile is neither fair nor just but necessary. Necessary always trumps fair and just to end a war. He can relocate to America, and have a talk show on CNN+, with Colonel Vindman, as his second banana( did the Reader see how great Colonel Vindman was on Larry David’s CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM?, a natural second banana). For Peace in Ukraine, Zelensky must be declared persona non grata. It will be extremely difficult to get a ceasefire with Zelensky still in power.
2-Ukraine must pass a constitutional amendment barring joining NATO, barring allowing nuclear weapons to be stationed on its soil.
3-Russia must pay reparations, to relatives of civilians killed and living civilians injured; financial aid to rebuild damaged infrastructure and give free oil and gas to Ukraine for a decade.
4-Russia must accede to Ukraine joining the European Union.
5-Ukraine must implement the reunification of the Ukrainian and Russian Orthodox Churches under the Patriarch of Moscow.
6-Ukraine must cede some territory to Russia (see SIDEBAR).

ON March 8, 2014 this Blogger published a solution to the Ukrainian crisis:
Gerry Maxey’s Copyrighted 19th Century Solution to the 21st Century Ukraine Crisis
http://themaxeychronicles.blogspot.com/2014/03/gerry-maxeys-copyrighted-19th-century.html
The following is excerpted from that Blog:
"Vladimir Putin wants Eastern Ukraine because it is Russian Orthodox in Religion, and Russian by History, language, and culture. Eastern Ukraine is the cradle of Russian Civilization, first home of the Rus, home of Boris and Gleb, the Lay of Igor’s Campaign, the Cossack, and TARAS BULBA. Vladimir Putin does not want Western Ukraine. Western Ukraine is a Bridge too Far for Putin; it is Catholic, Polish or Lithuanian by history and culture, and broke, really, really broke.
So the main question becomes can the United States and the European Union allow, tolerate, and countenance the separation of Western and Eastern Ukraine, and the subsequent absorption of Eastern Ukraine by Russia?
Can the United States and European Union MORALLY allow Eastern Russian Orthodox Ukraine to become a member of the Russian Federation?
There should be no map fetish concerning the sanctity of Ukraine’s borders; Ukraine is artificial, cobbled together after World War II by stealing land from Poland. Eastern Ukraine could be a province of Russia; Western Ukraine could still be the nation of Ukraine, religiously, linguistically and ethnically more homogenized that its current incarnation.
If the Western Allies could split up the Austro-Hungarian Empire, which had lasted for 1,000 years, they can split up the State of Ukraine which has been in existence for less than 25 years.
This Blog does not suggest that the United States and the European Union just give Eastern Ukraine to the Russian Federation. The selling of land is a very 19th Century concept, but it transfers sovereignty without ethnic war, or coups, or ski masked gunmen, all so common in the 21st Century.
The United States bought land from Napoleon, the Louisiana Purchase; the United States bought Florida from Spain; the United States bought Alaska from Russia; the United States bought land from Mexico, the Gadsden Purchase. Russia should have to buy Eastern Ukraine from the State of Ukraine......THE MAXEY CHRONICLES.”
The Ruling Elite, in the personages of Colonel Vindman, Fiona Hill and CNN “experts”do not believe Putin will escalate the war in Ukraine by using tactical nuclear weapons. They almost guarantee it.
"……. On Monday retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, who served as the European affairs director for the National Security Council, told "CBS Mornings" that this latest development is familiar to Kremlin watchers.
"Vladimir Putin is hoping through his nuclear saber-rattling that he'll put us back on our heels, get us to be deeply concerned about the potential for nuclear escalation. But of course, for those in government, they understand that … we've had to deal with this threat throughout the Cold War, throughout the Soviet period, for generations," Vindman said, "and that we had to respond to Russia's belligerence and stay firm in supporting our national security interests. That's part of it, is just not to bend because of the nuclear saber-rattling, because we've seen it before….cbs.news.”
Alas, America is not dealing with the Soviet Union any longer; regardless of their official atheism, the Russian people were and are deeply religious. And if not religious, then superstitious. During the Cold War, they felt a gnawing belief, certainty, that God was on America’s side, and that influenced their restraint.
On August 13,2013, this Blogger published the following:
“It has been 22 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union; to Putin, ex-KGB officer, it is time to reverse history, to reverse Russia’s Cold War defeat.
….Ex-KGB officers believe that they lost the Cold War because they were atheists, and the winning West was religious. In their post mortem, the winning difference was Faith. Religion defeated Atheism. ….When I had dinner in East Germany with KGB Gleb (his nom de guerre), I picked up the tab. When Gleb came to America, he picked up our dinner tab and smiled,” Gerry, your nation and culture is doomed, and we now know how to bring it down….. We will revisit the Cold War and this time we will win, because now Russia is the most religious Christian country in the world.”…THE MAXEY CHRONICLES.”
The coterie of former KGB agents who currently hold sway over Russia no longer see America as God’s City on the Hill, but as a depraved secular cesspool of pedophilia( they watched EUPHORIA and THE POWER OF THE DOG).
Therefore, the real issue, an issue incomprehensible to the Ruling Elite of the NEW YORK TIMES, MSNBC, CNN, WASHINGTON POST, and the American State Department is this- will Putin and his acolytes consider blowing the secular cesspool of America to hell something which would please God?
