This Blogger and his brother were in Sweden, killing time, waiting for the Soviet Union to validate their visa request. The brothers had decided to vacation in the Soviet Union; weird this Blogger knows, but then again, not as weird as Bernie Sanders HONEYMOONING in the Soviet Union. That is demented.
This Blogger and his brother decided to attend a museum; it was mid afternoon, and as the tour formed up, it was roughly fourteen Germans and the two American brothers.
One could tell the other tourists were Germans for they spoke German, and the men had dueling scars on their faces. One cannot get more German than that.
The tour guide was a delightful Swedish girl named Inger, multi-lingual.
In those halcyon days, American men touring Europe wore a uniform, Levis jeans and white sneakers. The brothers wore Levis and white sneakers. The Germans knew the Blogger and his brother were Americans.
The tour started; and Ingrid spoke German, probably impeccably for the Germans seemed pleased. Inger did not speak a word of English.
At the fifth exhibit, this Blogger’s brother turned on his charm, sidled up to Inger and asked her if she spoke English.
She asked him: “American?”
He answered:”Yes.”
She stated she spoke English quite well.
This Blogger's brother then asked her if she knew the meaning of the word, synopsis or summary, and if she did; could she summarize what she was telling the Germans in English, at end of each stop?
Inger only smiled.
The tour resumed; Inger started speaking only English.
At around the tenth exhibit, the leader of the Germans asked Inger, in English, if she could revert to explaining some of the exhibits in German, half English, half German?
Inger smiled as if she had seen Santa Claus and replied sweetly. “Nein.”
The German, befuddled, asked: “Why not?
Inger replied: “Because they conquered you.”
For the rest of the tour, Inger spoke only English. This Blogger assumed that the Germans complained to Inger’s supervisors, but what could they do? This Blogger and his brother were Americans, and Americans indeed had conquered the Germans.
It was a very glorious thing, to be an American between 1944 and 1992, the Periclean Age of America. Other people, even the sworn enemies of the Republic admired and envied Americans. We were amazing to them.
The Soviet Union had lost 25 million citizens during the struggle against the Nazis; but they had been fighting for their own homeland, their own culture, for the Slavic race.
America on the other hand, had plucked men from all walks of life, farmers, cowboys, street venders, gamblers, ditch diggers, criminals, and saints; shipped them across the great water to throw themselves at Nazi guns to save Civilization, for everyone. It was an action never done before in human history, efficient war for altruism.
Then in 1992, America turned out the last President from the heroic greatest Generation and hitched its wagon to a political genius, a silver tongued Arkansas Alcibiades; who was also a draft dodger; and the decline began.
That decline has culminated in a defeat of America by a ruthless and vicious group of misogynistic medievalists; a defeat so significant, that it MUST change how Americans look at its foreign policy.

Is it the naïveté of a politician lacking any sense of history or tragedy, the one who took the Taliban at their word when they assured us of their peaceful intentions in Doha in February 2020?
Is it the cynicism of a president already looking ahead to his re-election and pandering to those in swing-states who are said to be fed up with “endless wars”?
….Is it an effect of a swing of the pendulum between the four major poles of American diplomacy laid out by Walter Russell Mead: Wilsonianism and its democratic messianism; Jeffersonianism and its hard and fast isolationism; Jacksonianism and its reflex to give tit for tat, but only when US interests appear directly targeted; and Hamiltonianism and the formulation, so dear to France’s Montesquieu, that America’s only truly vital interests were those of peaceful commerce?
Or is this a new pole altogether? One pioneered by Barack Obama in August 2013, when he declined to enforce the red line that he had said would be irretrievably crossed if the Syrian leader resorted to the use of chemical weapons against his own citizens? The one at work when, without warning or any shred of moral or strategic interest, Donald Trump abandoned his country’s Kurdish allies, first in Iraq when he allowed the pro-Iranian militias to invade Kirkuk, then in Syria when he allowed Erdogan’s murderous proxies to enter Rojava? The one brought to its culmination in the present Afghan rout, this abject display of open desertion being broadcast live to the world and punctuated, as I write, by scenes of panic and chaos at Kabul airport that could easily be mistaken for those in Saigon in 1975?

Mr. Levy is a famous French philosophe, who predicted that Libya would be a better place with Kaddafi removed.
Mr. Levy thinks America should still be the super power it was; it cannot be that. The defeat in Afghanistan must change the paradigm upon which American foreign policy was based.
In America’s glory years, America was the most Christian nation in the world, a pillar of the Judeo-Christian civilization, a bedrock of believing in the Abrahamic faiths, an avatar of the Islamic people of the Book, a devotee on common ground of faith.
Everywhere America ventured, in war or in peace, it had allies against atheists and barbarians. Common citizens, in foreign lands, saw America as the righteous town tamer, there to do good , however bumbling.
All that goodwill, and admiration among the common citizens of the world, the everyman of foreign lands, has been dissipated, as a result of the process America has engaged in, social engineering. More deleterious than in indulging in social engineering, America and Americans have been prostelyzing social engineering as a new secular religion, a new code of values. America has evolved, or devolved….changed, into a secular society which supports Feminism, Assisted suicide, Multiculturalism, Polyglot Diversity, Transgender rights, Lower Educational Standards, Erasure of History and Same-Sex marriage. Those social changes may be good for America; but they have been fatal to America's ambitions of being a successful interventionist power again.
America has no natural allies among people of faith in Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or even Communist countries. All the nations that oppose America, all the places that will be fraught with the danger of armed conflict, have boiled down to this-people of tradition versus American secularists.
The Blogger has talked to former KGB agents who think that the Soviet Empire collapsed because the Catholics in Poland, the Lutherans in East Germany, the Jews, Russian Orthodox and Muslims in the Soviet Union thought America had more faith than the atheist Communists.
In light of that, former KGB Colonel, Vladimir Putin made his Russia, Cromwellian, the most Christian nation on the planet.
Because of the explosion of social engineering in American society, America is no longer the avatar of saving civilization, but the avatar of the people who want to bring Thermidor to the calendar nearest you.
Americans have social engineered America into being the world’s faithless bogeyman.
In the future, social engineered America will have allies of only those it has bribed, or purchased or rented, or offer protection to or have entered a transactional relationship with. Never again, will America have allies of people of faith on the ground.
That will preclude any successful intervention in Sunni, Shiite, Russian Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant,, Hindu, Buddhist or even Communist countries( Communists are notoriously prudish in social mores, Communist Fidel Castro put Gays in prison for being Gay).
America will still have a puncher’s chance of successful intervention in countries loyal to SAURON.
America, as a collective, must accept that its pell-mell social engineering has neutered its ability to do good in the world; people all over the world see Americans as godless creatures. That hatred is inchoate, but it will crystallize into a critical mass.
The Taliban victory was just the initial rebuke to American social engineering, secular American values, and America’s godless hubris.
With all its technology, with all its power, with all its weapons, America is incapable of mandating its social engineering on a traditional world, getting more traditional with each passing day.
Since the film, THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY, America has had cultural sway over the entire world; until America’s defeat at the hands of cultural fanatics in the Hindu Kush. Historically, the Taliban victory is equivalent to the German victory over the Romans at the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest; a victory that ensued than Roman culture would never hold sway over the Germans.
Going forward from its defeat in the Hindu Kush and its expulsion from Afghanistan, America must be content with being an inclusive paradise of social engineering, on its own soil, and nowhere else.....maybe Argentina. The rest of the world is rapidly becoming the FORBIDDEN ZONE to Americans and American social engineering.

Then the whole world recognized Americans as extraordinary; they would let American sit at the table; if not to change them, then at least to influence them.

Globalists wanted America to be a part of the wide global community; well, social engineering has done that. The upshot, the world no longer likes nor respects America.
As Afghanistan showed, America can no longer even buy mercenaries; it can rent them, seemingly on an hourly basis, but cannot buy them.
American Liberal social engineering has done what American Trumpians could not do, force America into isolationism. By popular demand across the world, America is now, an isolationist country.
The paradigm for future American foreign policy is evident, SAKOKU( the isolationist policy of the Japanese shogunate).
