One of the problems with the modern mindset of 2021, is that it conflates prognostication with advocacy. They are not the same thing; one can predict without advocating that prediction. This Blogger has predicted a Second American Civil War; he does not advocate a Second American Civil War. A Second Civil War would be a disaster; only proving that Abraham Lincoln was sui generis. In a Second American Civil War, the best which could be expected would be another Cromwell, or more likely a Sulla; the worst would be the most probable, a general who sticks the heads of his defeated enemies on pikes, on live streaming television. Take that Paddy Chayefsky (see the film, NETWORK).
Proscriptions were invented by Sulla. He was a very competent General; notorious for being the first General to hurl the Roman Army against the Roman Republic. He spent his declining years surrounded by actors who were ancestors of the cast of POSE or LA CAGE AUX FOLLES( the cage of crazy women or effete males).
But before going all in, he invented Proscriptions; a policy later to be used by all the rogue Roman generals: Pompey, Crassus, Caesar, Marc Antony and Octavius.
Sulla was a frugal and impatient man in the matters of legal jurisprudence. He did not want to waste time on due process….hence proscriptions. In Old West, American terms, the translation could be POSTING. Sulla publicly posted the names of his enemies; once posted, any one had license to kill the proscribed enemy of the people, and claim dibs on his property.
It was very effective, a very cheap mass execution.
And it seems, in 2021, Proscriptions, are the next stop on America’s Decline Train ride.

During the Capitol riots on 6 January, crowds stormed the halls of Congress calling to hang then-Vice President Mike Pence, who presided over the certification of electoral college results, and threatened to kill Democratic lawmakers.

THE MAXEY CHRONICLES predicts that there will not be Mass Executions in America; however, this Blogger does see the raging ones posting proscription lists, allowing, empowering, self declared Regulators to clean up the country by individual acts of self declared righteous violence.
With the rise of social media, ad hoc proscription lists can be developed and widely disseminated to the faithful. Proscription lists are a cheap and effective way to do what any terrorist wants to do to the society in the cross hairs; make that society unlivable for the Elitists who oppose them, including the Media; and make the society ungovernable for the governing Elite. What the Taliban is doing to the Elite in Afghanistan is the template for what is being planned for the Liberal Elite in America.

The Bourbon Elite meted out so much ridicule on the French peasant class that they got their heads cut off.
History repeated itself during the Weimar Republic; the German intellectual elite meted out so much ridicule on the burghers they wound up in concentration camps, being hung by piano wire.
In 2018, the Liberal Elite of Robert DeNiro, Samantha Bee, John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, Rob Reiner, and Jimmy Kimmel are ladling out ridicule on the hapless straight white male supporters of Donald Trump.
History has shown us where Elitist Ridicule leads; which begs the question will there be another American Civil War?
Civil Wars are about values; which is why they are so deadly and vicious and unrelenting.
The Liberal Elite has full control of Entertainment in Trumpian America. Let us stipulate that the majority of Trump’s supporters are straight, white, males; under the Liberal Elite they are without a voice in the current pop culture.
All that straight white American males have at their disposal are guns, a lot of guns.
If there is another Civil War, it will be between Liberals wielding entertaining ridicule and Trumpian males, armed to the teeth.

What will trigger the new Civil War?
If one is a Trump supporter, reading THE WASHINGTON POST, NEW YORK TIMES or watching CNN or MSNBC, one is acquainted that he is viewed as an avatar of toxic masculinity that will be phased out by demographics. Liberals keep pounding it into straight while males that they will be a minority in the nation by 2045, emasculated and disemboweled by the ascendant minorities.
What the Liberal Elite fail to comprehend is that straight, white American males own in excess of 300 million guns; which raises the question why should the straight white American male, with all those guns, wait to be disempowered, and disemboweled when he can shoot the Liberals now and thwart demographics?
The Spanish Civil War started when the Spanish Army decided that demographics were against traditional values, and decided to shoot first.
Let this be clearly understood, it is the Liberal Elite which introduced the concept of ZERO SUM into the American culture when they cavalierly placed the straight, white American male patriarchy of toxic masculinity on the trash heap of history, in 2045. It is the Zero Sum mentality of the besotted Liberal Elite which has forced the straight, white American male to consider resolution by bullet.

In October, 2020, an astute observer could make the assumption that the proscription lists have already been written:
“CBS has reportedly hired full-time security for “60 Minutes” host Lesley Stahl after a family member received a death threat over her interview with President Trump.
An unidentified suspect called Stahl’s home Thursday, just hours before the president released his own copy of the interview on Facebook, and threatened her and her family and “said something about neo-Nazis,” TMZ reported Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Police Department would not confirm whether an investigation has been launched.
Stahl, 78, now reportedly has security guards at her home and with her whenever she goes out in public.
