Is
it racist to advocate for the repatriation of Somali refugees from America back
to their homeland? Or patriotic? Somali
patriotism.
Minnesota,
Colorado, Wisconsin and Ohio have given sanctuary to many Somalis fleeing war conditions in Somalia.

1990s more than 100,000 Somalis have come to America as refugees. Many settled
in the Minneapolis-St Paul area, which today is home to around 75,000
immigrants from Somalia and their children. The Cedar-Riverside neighbourhood
in the Twin Cities is sometimes called “Little Mogadishu”. After they arrived,
Somalis clustered and kept to themselves;….. Somali women made little effort to
learn English.

one of the most troubled groups of immigrants. Many young Somali men are in
prison; many Somalis of both sexes drop out of high school. Unemployment hovers
around 21%, the highest of Minnesota’s five largest immigrant groups. More than
half of Minnesota’s Somalis are poor. Many are isolated from other immigrants
and even from other Muslims, who find them prickly, proud and standoffish….THE

attacked several people with a machete at Nazareth Restaurant -- a business
owned by a pro-Israel Arab Christian. Police later shot and killed Barry when
he lunged at them with a machete and knife.
Mr. Barry had come to the
attention of the FBI four years ago for radical comments, law enforcement
officials said….Columbus Dispatch.”
In Minnesota Somali youths are on
trial for attempting to go to Syria and fight with ISIS:” …..Opening
arguments began in federal court Wednesday in a case prosecutors say marks a
significant moment in the effort to convict American men who have attempted to
join and fight alongside Islamic State in Syria.Women dressed in abayas — family
members of the defendants — partially filled the gallery as prosecutors vowed
to show how a group of young men from Minneapolis' large Somali American
community were radicalized by Islamic State and Al Qaeda-affiliated propaganda
and formed plans to leave the U.S.
Mohamed
Abdihamid Farah, Abdirahman Yasin Daud and Guled Ali Omar face charges of
conspiring to commit murder outside the U.S. and providing material support to
a terrorist organization by joining Islamic State.
Officials
said the men tried to leave the United States by taking buses to catch flights
in New York or to cross into Mexico from San Diego to begin their journey to
Syria.
At least two others
have pleaded guilty to related charges and agreed to testify for the
prosecution…...”
In the prosecution's
opening argument Wednesday, Winter said the young Somali American men first
became interested in going to Syria after two of their friends, Hanad Mohallim
and Abdi Nur, made the journey to Syria. There, Nur and Mohallim began posting
Islamic State glamour shots of themselves on social media, posing with
Kalashnikov assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenades, prosecutors said.
In one Twitter post
shown by prosecutors, Nur sent what he called a message to America from Islamic
State: “We love death more than you love life.”
…."My son Guled [Omar] is a very good young man," Fadumo
Hussein said through an interpreter. "One of those young men you can
trust.... He never did anything wrong and never will."
The mothers also
expressed concerns that the jury was all white.
"Although there
are no people of color on the jury, we are still expecting them to be
fair," Daud's mother, Farhiyo Mohamed, said through an interpreter….LOS

This
Blogger has a different theory of the case; we can never win the War Against
Terror on American soil by coddling potential Somali terrorists. If Somali youths
want to go to Syria, let them go, and then assassinate them en route to Syria
or when they try to return to America.

Somali workers are having great difficulty assimilating into
American society.
“May 2 — Employers in Colorado, Wisconsin and
Minnesota are clashing with Muslim employees over taking prayer breaks at work…..
… EEOC charges,(were) filed on behalf of 21
Somali-American Muslim workers, involving allegations against AmesburyTruth, a
manufacturing company in Owatonna, Minn., and Doherty Staffing Solutions, a
temporary staffing agency in Edina, Minn., that referred many of the workers to
the company for employment.
Since December, similar scenarios have
unfolded between Muslim workers and their employers at a Cargill Inc. beef
processing plant in Fort Morgan, Colo., and at Ariens Co., a power equipment
manufacturer in Brillion, Wis.
…The 21 employees in Minnesota worked on an
assembly line at a manufacturing plant, making hardware products such as
doorknobs and hinges.

This
Blogger thinks that the Somali issues in the workplace are unnecessary exercises,
because those jobs should be held by Native born American Blacks.
No
one is so inhumane that they relish repatriating Somali refugees but the logic of saving the
Black working class dictates that it must be done.
The
current metrics and the clearly visible future informs all rational Americans
that Draconian methods must be mandated and then enacted upon or the United
States, as with all the Republics which preceded it, will flounder.
The
continued greatness and power of the United States comes from understanding
that America currently resides in a world of zero sum resources.
Will striping Somalis of employment lead to an increase in domestic terrorism?
Not
if the Somali population is repatriated to Somalia.
Repatriation is not a
foreign idea to the American Experience, “during last great Migration
to America, from 1900-1920, one third, 33% of immigrants repatriated.”
Would enforced repatriation be constitutional? There is no fact on the ground which cannot be made legal by constitutional imagination; the Supreme Court confirmed that fact when it legalized Same-Sex Marriage.

Iman Elman, a 24-year-old officer in the Somali National Army, grew up in
Canada but returned to Somalia to help rid the country of al-Shabab. “I
knew I wanted to put an end to it and knew that meant I would have to deal with
al-Shabab head-on. By joining the army, I’d actually be able to contribute and
restore peace back to the country,” Elman said.
Elman’s
fight has been even more difficult because she is a woman. The army captain
described the initial surprise of others in the military and the community at
seeing a young woman wearing pants — forbidden under the code of Sharia law
imposed by al-Shabab. Initially, Elman was given two pairs of pants sewn
together as a skirt to wear as a uniform.
“I
definitely had to work twice as hard as my male colleagues to get where I am
today,” she said. “Initially it was seen as very negative, as someone who was
disrespecting my culture, my religion, but over time people started to embrace
the idea of women wearing pants.” Prior to al-Shabab’s arrival in Somalia,
Somali women often wore pants, Elman said. The radical group has tried to
change not only Somali ideology but also the country’s culture, “making us
believe it was our culture when it really wasn’t.”
In
Somalia, Elman explained, women, who traditionally dominate the household, have
been essential to the spread of al-Shabab, encouraging sons or other men in
their households to execute attacks. For that reason, Elman said the role of
women in expelling al-Shabab from their communities will be crucial. “It’s the
ideology that we’re fighting, and therefore it is equal for men and for women.
We’ve had a number of cases where women are playing huge, dominant roles, and
that’s why I think women should be playing more of an active role in the
security sector, because I’ve seen women taking on a huge role in fighting
directly alongside al-Shabab,”…WOMEN IN THE WORLD SUMMIT.”
