Samantha
Power is the Irish born Globalized Elitist who currently serves as President
Obama’s Ambassador to the United Nations. Since the beginning of his
Administration, she has been the intellectual nexus of his foreign policy; as
such she has wielded enormous political influence, moral guidance and power,
even up to the point of governance. In all aspects of her influence, guidance
and decision making, she has been remarkably, ethereally wrong.
She
has been celestially wrong in decision making on Syria, Egypt , Central Africa Republic
and Libya.
Ambassador
Power is the archangel in President Obama’s adrift, besotted and defeated
foreign policy; she is the embodiment of everything wrong about the Globalized Elite
governing a proud nation. She is naïve, but
who among us does not suffer from naiveté? Her sin is not naiveté, but a
lack of self awareness about how naïve she truly is; she is smug in her naiveté, to an unconscionable degree.
Her
smug naiveté denudes her of the
necessary foresight to see evil beyond the evil seen. She cannot imagine an evil beyond the evil extant
in current circumstances. Her lack of
imagination places her in the company of Neville Chamberlain, and Alexander
Kerensky, dangerously wrongheaded about the worse that can happen.
She
saw evil in Egypt's President Mubarak, worse still, she thought Mubarak was the limit of evil. She could not imagine anything or anyone more evil
in Egypt than Mubarak, thus she supported the Muslim Brotherhood, which wanted
to forcibly convert Copts, lynch Shiites, destroy the Pyramids and go to war
with Christian Ethiopia. In Syria, she saw President Assad as the limit of
evil, so she supported Sunni rebels to the point of proposing to bomb Syrian Shiites and
Syrian Christians. Only Russian President Putin's astute diplomacy, and the
fierce opposition of the American people stopped her from orchestrating a foreign
policy disaster, war with the Alawite regime of Syria for the betterment of
Salafists. In the Central Africa Republic(CAR), she supported a minority of
Muslim Extremists who were slaughtering their Christian neighbors, only rising
in moral outrage when the Christians took revenge on the Extremists.
In Libya, she has been wrong, on a cosmic level.
The

Power took the podium at Columbia
University ….Ms. Power, the fiery
human rights crusader who now advises Mr. Obama on foreign policy…
was among those encouraging President Obama to use military force in Libya. “Our best judgment,” she said, defending the decision to
establish a no-fly zone to prevent atrocities, was that failure to do so would
have been “extremely chilling, deadly and indeed a stain on our collective
conscience.”

her perch on the National
Security Council, she is in a position to make that case to
the commander in chief — and to watch him translate her ideas into action.....she has
Obama’s ear.”
The
Irish-born Ms. Power, 40,…. was by no means alone in advocating military
intervention in Libya — Hillary Rodham Clinton, the
secretary of state, was a pivotal voice — the president’s decision to pursue
that course is something of a personal triumph for her.

Critics say Ms. Power is pushing the United States into another Iraq…..(critics)
omplain President Obama has outsourced foreign policy” to Ms. Power……. Aside
from her Pulitzer and two Ivy League degrees
(Yale undergraduate, Harvard Law),
she has posed in an evening gown for Men’s Vogue and once played basketball
with George Clooney. The
Daily Beast calls her “the femme fatale of the humanitarian
assistance world.”
When she
married the constitutional law scholar Cass Sunstein — he now runs the White
House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs — Esquire dubbed them “The Fun Couple of the 21st Century” and
photographed them on the squash court, in tennis whites. …
On
Libya, Ms. Power’s critics — and even some admirers — suggest she may be
helping to set a precedent that will invariably fail. ” NEW YORK TIMES, MARCH 30, 2011.”
Ambassador Power is cool, hip, Millennial,
half of a fun couple and always wrong.
“Samantha
Power is considered to be a key figure within the Obama administration in
persuading the president to intervene militarily in
Libya…..She has been described as
instrumental in convincing Obama to push for a UN Security Council resolution
to authorize a coalition military force ….."
Ambassador
Power, the Ivy League Globalized Elitist, is perfectly willing to cavalierly
commit American lives and American blood to
bring Ivy League morality to the whole world. It is easy to play in the
blood game with the blood of your adopted countrymen.
Samantha
Power prodded and pushed for the overthrow of Libyan dictator, Moamar Kadafi ; the following is what she wrought. (Reader, in the following quote,
please note that Anne Patterson is a Samantha Power acolyte, and that while she
was America's Ambassador to Egypt she urged the people of Egypt to happily accept the
regime of the Muslim Brotherhood and not fight back).

most active militant sanctuary, at the center of the resurgent threat that
Obama warned about in a May address at West Point. A 2012 terrorist attack
against the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi killed four Americans,
including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.
Arms
trafficking from Libya "is fueling conflict and insecurity — including
terrorism — on several continents," an expert panel reported to the United
Nations Security Council in February. Weapons smuggled out of Libya have been
used by insurgents in Mali, by Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria and by
Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip.
More than
50,000 people, including refugees from Syria and migrants from North Africa,
have flooded into Europe through Libya's porous borders, …...
U.S.
officials, now scrambling to reverse Libya's downward spiral, say blame rests
with the Libyans who took control of a country that has proved more
dysfunctional than expected…..Those who argued against the 2011 intervention
say problems were foreseeable.
Former
Republican Sen. Richard Lugar of Indiana who argued against the military
campaign while serving as ranking minority member of the Senate Foreign
Relations Committee, said, "There wasn't enough thought given ….”
…. Kadafi's
vast arsenal of weapons. Estimated to include 1 million tons of assault rifles,
small arms, antitank missiles, rockets and portable antiaircraft weapons, the
cache was bigger than Britain's arms inventory.
As time
passed, the crumbling of institutions and the conflicts among the 125 rival
armed groups proved much greater than U.S. officials had expected. Violence
surged, including kidnappings and attacks on government officials.
"We were
all taken by surprise, when Kadafi left, by the sheer lack of government
institutions," Anne Patterson, the top U.S. diplomat for the Middle East,
told a congressional panel Wednesday.
The
administration's top priority now is an eight-year plan to train a force of up
to 8,000 soldiers. But one year after Libya requested the help, the program
hasn't begun because it is too dangerous for the trainers to enter ….Some
observers are warning that the administration eventually may be forced to do
more. A Rand Corp. report this spring predicted that if Libya's problems
continue to worsen, another NATO intervention might be required….Los Angeles
Times.”
Libya’s Dictator Kadafi was a bad man, who oppressed his
people. Hip, cool Samantha Power, half
of a fun couple, got America, against its better interest to intervene. As a
result of that intervention, bad has been replaced by evil.
“…. Salwa Bougaighis….the
prominent human rights lawyer, 47, was attacked by masked men with guns and
knives who stormed the walled compound where she lived in the eastern city of
Benghazi, according to officials and news reports. She died a short time later
in a hospital of a gunshot wound to the head, according to Libya’s state news
agency, and had also been stabbed…...
She was outspokenly critical of armed
Islamist groups that have come to the fore, particularly in Benghazi, after the
2011 toppling and death of longtime dictator Moammar Kadafi.
…Bougaighis’
husband, who was said to have been home at the time of the assault, was
reported missing….Bougaighis …. pushed for greater female representation in the
post-revolution power structure …. Friends of the mother of three described her
as a charismatic and elegant figure.”
Now Ms. Bougaighis is dead, slaughtered, a victim of the
Islamist Jacobin Terror, which could have been, should have been seen as a
consequence of the sophomoric overthrow of Kadafi. The reason that the Islamist
Jacobin Terror was not foreseen is because Ms. Power is a congenitally
malignant internationalist, willing and eager to sacrifice American interests
and American lives for the interests of an
international morality conceived and nurtured in the academic salons and
seminars of the Ivy League.
She is the anti-thesis of George F. Kennan; in her soul, in
her actions, she is not an American diplomat but an international courtier, who
serves the American Republic not because of any intellectual or moral or
emotional commitment but because she is here in America. Her loyalty is a movable
feast, and could just as easily be
transferred to the House of Savoy, to
the House of Bourbon or to the Sublime Porte.
Samantha Power is a cool, hip, connected, international
courtier, who is always wrong. America,
her adopted land, has suffered greatly for those qualities.
