Applying Occam's Razor to the "Mess" at the Southern Border

As this Blog is being written, waves upon waves of  migrants, including armies of unaccompanied minors, are battering American borders, at the Southern border.   “ WASHINGTON—The U.S. is on pace to see the largest number of migrants crossing its southern border illegally in two decades, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said  in a statement Tuesday  addressing growing concern about the government’s response….WALL STREET JOURNAL.”   Why is this happening?   Uncle Joe Biden says it is not a crisis but a “mess”; a    “mess” he    inherited from President Trump’s harsh policies concerning enforcement of the Republic’s immigration and citizenship laws.   However, this Blogger is a relentless believer in Occam’s Razor, that the simplest answer may  not only be the best  answer. but the only one. “William of Occam (also spelled "Ockham") didn't invent the rule associated with his name.
