A few, sad thoughts about Donald Trump’s political farewell, which technically ended  when his imposed candidate, Herschel  Walker, lost his bid to be  US Senator from Georgia.   That is technically correct; in reality, Mr. Trump’s political doom occurred when he imposed a Turkish citizen, a Sunni Muslim, who still voted in Turkish elections, as the Republican candidate for Senator from Pennsylvania. That imposition by fiat made no logical sense for a man who announced an intention to ban Sunni Muslims from entering America. On December 4, 2022, the NEW YORK TIMES’ Sunday edition of ARTS ,gave over most of its ink to critic Wesley Morris’ insights on the decline of Hollywood stars; in an article entitled:  WE’RE OUT OF MOVIE STARS.
