Lincoln's Washington D.C.

This Blogger, on his hadj to Washington D.C., made  a special effort to pay renewed homage to Abraham Lincoln. In reality, the American Civil War, the American Iliad, is about two men: Lincoln and Robert E. Lee. If Lincoln had not been elected President of the United States, the South would not have seceded, ergo no Civil War.  If Lee had taken Lincoln’s offer to command the Federal Armies at the beginning of the war, the war would probably have ended in 90 days. The war was so bloody; the war was such a bloodletting, because Lee went with his state, Virginia, against the Union. He was not the only one; Virginia supplied more troops to the Confederacy than any other rebel state. The war lasted four long years only because of Lee and his killing genius; “ Forty-five percent of all Union casualties—including 56.4 percent of all Union troops wounded and 36.4 percent of all Union troops killed in action—fell at the hands of Lee's army. ” Lee and Lee alone gave the Confeder

2020 Astrophysics Devolves into Divine Confusion

One of the great joys in living in 2020 is relishing the complete disarray of modern astrophysics. Jonah being swallowed by a whale; the tower of Babel, manna from Heaven, all have more credibility than 2020 astrophysics. 2020 astrophysics has become myth making, on an amateur level. Time is a seminal problem for physicists, and    astrophysicists. By all the applied laws of physics,  Mankind should be able to    go both back in time, and forward in time; physics tells us that should be possible. But against the laws of physics, Time is an arrow, going only one way- forward. If one built a time machine in 2020, one could go to the year 2050; but the Time Traveler would not be able to return to 2020. Time goes against physics; astrophysicist Stephen Hawking in his tome A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME,    asked his Readers to imagine a time without Time, before the Big Bang. If anyone can imagine a time before Time, without Time, one can believe in a whale swallowing Jonah, and Jonah coming

MAXEY CHRONICLES' 2019 PERSONS OF THE YEAR - HONG KONG PROTESTORS

The MAXEY CHRONICLES’ 2019 PERSON OF THE YEAR is the Hong Kong Protestors. Since June, 2019, they have consistently and valiantly demonstrated against the Chinese Communists. Every day they have gone into the pit to be bloodied by a cruel and joyless regime; they have been intimidated, beaten, gassed, shoved, humiliated, and shot at. Yet they have persevered. They are not media creations. They bleed not for recognition nor fame, but the obvious right- One’s homeland should be left a better place than found. In June, 2019, the Chinese Communist regime wanted their allied entity, the former British colony of Hong Kong, to pass a law which would have allowed expeditious extradition of Hong Kong residents to mainland China for judgment. The people of Hong Kong felt that the proposed law would undermine the sovereignty Hong Kong achieved in 1997, when it reverted back to China from Great Britain. The Hong Kong protestors were so many that the original extradition bill was suspend
