March, 2017,100th Anniversary of the February,1917 Russian Revolution:The Czar, Kerensky, Rasputin and the Virgin Mary @Fatima

March, 2017 is the 100 th Anniversary of the February  1917, Russian Revolution. How can an event in March be the 100 th Anniversary of an event which occurred in February? Czarist Russia used a Julian Calendar to mark the passing of the days, so events which occurred in February to Russians, happened in March for everyone else. Demonstrations against the Czar began on February 23, 1917(Russian time), in Petrograd(now St. Petersburg), the capital of Czarist Russia. The Czar, Nicholas II, was at the Front, commanding a losing Army, in person. His wife, Czarina Alexandra, was defacto in command in Petrograd. She did not think anything was amiss, how could it be? The Russian people had loved the Romanov Czars for  300 years( keep in mind that the Czarina Catherine I was Polish, and the Czarina Catherine II, Catherine the Great, was German).  Alexandra was also German, a handicap when one’s adopted nation is fighting a war of attrition with one’s birth nation.

The Business of Importing Africans to America: From Slavery to Somali Refugee Resettlement

The benchmark for advocates of refugees, migrants and illegal aliens is a wanton desire for more consumers, more Diversity, and  more exotic restaurants. Those are not the benchmarks America needs in its immigration policy to survive the 21 st Century. The benchmark needed is acceptance of an common American sacrifice; young Americans were plucked off the streets of cities, hamlets and reservations, piled into floating death traps and asked to land on an open beach, in an attempt to breech the Atlantic Wall, a defensive barrier forged by the Nazi War machine, for over four years, under the command of the  brilliant paladin Field Marshal Rommel. And the Americans  did it. Does Diversity add to courage? No. Does Diversity add to a willingness to sacrifice for the Republic?  No. This Blogger believes, at best, Diversity and unfettered immigration are, at best, mox nix in adding to American Courage and American Sacrifice. This Blogger believes that the purpose

Will the Next American Civil War Start in.......MINNESOTA?

Once upon a time, this Blogger was asked to appraise the fighting skills of Somalis. This Blogger believed, and believes them to be brave, fierce, capable of accepting the risk of death…..if they think they are going to win. Somalis are incapable of accepting casualties in the pursuit of accomplishing the impossible…..organized Somalis are incapable of being the 1 st Minnesota at Gettysburg, or the 1st Battalion, the   Gloucestershire Regiment  (the Glorious Glosters) at Hill 235, ("Hold on where you are"), or the Big Red One on Omaha Beach. Somalis are capable of war, incapable of sacrifice. Somalis have the courage of bandits, which means they never defeat the superior force; the Ethiopians defeated a superior Italian Army at the Battle of Adowa; the spear carrying Zulus defeated a modern British detachment at the Battle of Islawanda; the Sudanese under the Mahdi defeated a superior Egyptian Army under the British Colonel Hicks at the Battle of El Obeid.
